Hello! My name is Jenny Treen-Smith and I am a passionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist, offering a friendly, personalised service to children and young people who have challenges with understanding and expressing language in North Wiltshire.
I specialise in working with preschool and early primary aged children and use Augmentative and Alternative Communiction (AAC) in all my work.
You and your child are at the centre of planning and progress, working with your child's strengths, to empower you with effective and respectful strategies for everyday communications.
I will share my specialist knowledge and skills so that we can together break down communication barriers, find solutions and engage in meaningful connections with your child.
All my sessions are child-led and honour each child's unique interests to allow them to take the lead. The speech and/or language goals we jointly work on are incorporated naturally in to the communications we have with your child.
Communicate works with families, education and residential settings to offer in-person and teletherapy services, bespoke and set training courses tailored to suit your needs.
My aim is to provide a neuroaffirming approach to you, your families and your wider community to break down communication barriers, find solutions and integrate communication into everyday lives.

Communication is complex! Children and young adults can experience difficulties in expressing themselves and need support to build their confidence.
I am an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who can identify specific areas of communication need, and support your child, family and the wider team to build confidence to communicate with each other.
I use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies in my therapy and training sessions, which are proven to work quickly and effectively.
